UseNetServer Update – Cheaper, Faster, Better Usenet 24 Aug 2010
The Fall is almost here. Lots of updates and announcements over the last few weeks with more to come as Usenet providers prepare for the busy months ahead. Today’s news comes from UseNetServer who just launched a new site design.

UseNetServer has built a reputation around quality and value. They really made a splash last year by offering a $10 High-Speed Plus account. The new slogan “Cheaper, Faster, Better Usenet” is direct and to the point.  UNS offers a lot for the price with high retention, fast reliable service and their Global Search feature.

The UseNetServer.com update seemed to center around a fresh look for the site. The layout and design are clear and easy to read. The important points of the service (retention, completion, unlimited access) stand out as well as the Global Searchfeature and 14-day free trial. The “as low as” prices state the price if paying quarterly. Otherwise you add around $1.50-$2.00 for monthly billing. The best value is in the $10/mo. or $95.40 annual UNS specials.

Over the weekend we tested UNS and the results were impressive. They advertise 600 days of binary retention yet we were able to download complete file sets over 630 days. A sign of future growth perhaps? To learn more about the service read ourUseNetServer review or sign up for a free trial.
